Inkers and Painters at early Disney

Post by jcaliff »

There's an interesting article about inkers and painters at early Disney at Vanity Fair's website. Coloring the Kingdom

I got the link from Mark Evanier's weblog. It's really interesting if you're interested in early animation history.

Hector the Collector loved these things with all his soul,
Loved them more than shining diamonds, loved them more than glistenin' gold.
Hector called to all the people,"Come and share my treasure trunk!"
And all the silly sightless people came and looked...and called it junk.

A very lovely, interesting article on Inkers & Painters from Disney it self.
Love this quote from the article - [quote]“When I’d take my clothes off, I’d be in the closet, and I couldn’t figure it out: am I going to sleep or am I getting up?â€
