Anyone here jump right on the book? I just ordered mine - yeah....I'm really slow! And they are out of stock around here.

No spoilers please! Or at least hidden.

I pre-ordered it on Amazon, since it was only $9.99 and gave it to my mother for Mother's Day. Of course...she reads so slowly that I'll undoubtedly read it first...

My sister just got my mom the whole Sookie Stackhouse box set for Mother's Day. Me and Mom got into watching True Blood together last year. Does anyone know when the new season starts?

June 13th. And I've been invited to a True Blood party! Totally stoked...

On another note, I could not wait for the book to arrive via post so I scoured around town to find it - the only place that had it in stock was our Wegman's! Go figure! Well, I strapped myself in and finished my last Brent Weeks book *eyeballs Nikki - we need to talk girl!!*.

So that means that I am now free to read Sookie! Or the latest Rogue Angel. Oh SNAP!

Thanks for the date...I've been waiting for the next season. A True Blood party...how awesome!!

Yay!! You finished the Night Angel Trilogy!! :D Yes, we do need to talk!!

I'm over half way through Dead in the Family! Just like the rest of the Sookie books, I have a hard time putting it down. :)

Reviving an old thread because I thought y'all could get a good laugh. As a "just because" gift, I received Dead Until Dark today. I guess I'll be reading the Sookie books now. :^^:

Awesome!! Great series! It looks like the next book (#11) comes out May 3rd. I can't wait. Dead in the Family was good, but seemed to be setting things up for the next book (it's showing on Charlene Harris' website as Dead Reckoning).

Also, I read that #13 would be the end unless she couldn't get it all in one book then 14 would be it.

Enjoy the beginning, DT! Hope you continue.

Btw, if you're watching True Blood on HBO, the series of books are from Sookie's point of view so they have a "narrower focus" than the series.
