Shh...Don't tell them about YJ!

I found this article on CNN today. Don't worry, it's totally work safe.

http://edition.cnn.com/2011/TECH/web/02 ... tml?hpt=C2

"We wanted to provide a place where people could buy original, affordable artworks, without the intimidation of stepping into a gallery," said Tanenbaum
So, none of these people have ever heard of auction sites...?

I realize that art is subjective, but, do (relatively) unknown artists make a decent living from selling copies?

I'd still feel offput buying copies of artwork for more than $75 or so. But then again I'm not hanging anything on my walls so that might have something to do with it.

Almost everything hanging on my walls was bought by my dad. One of them was a gift (a Chinese style painting) that his Tai Chi teacher pushed onto him. :)
