Show me something positive

Post by graymouser »

It seems like there has been so much negativity in the news recently. Horrible things are happening all over the place. Japan with the earthquake-tsunami-nuclear worries and Libya with all the killing going on are just a few.

I guess I just felt like I wanted to read about something positive. What are some good things that are happening in the world today. I know they're out there even if they don't make the same headlines as the bad news. I would love to see a list of positive events that have been going on. It doesn't have to be anything big, just let it be some good news.

I will start with this one about Pepsi being able to create a plastic bottle without using petroleum products. Apparently it is identical to the current bottles - even on the molecular level.

Here is something put out by the company itself.

You know it's rough to find good news in the media. The saying is "if it bleeds, it leads." Hopefully, someone around here can show you some good news. I don't watch the news anymore so I can't think of anything other than the royal wedding is coming up. It seems like Prince William is making a good choice about his bride and how to live his life. :)

I love the site that animeobsessed posted. What a neat idea.

I have to admit that I never think much about the royals, but that wedding seems like it should be something to look forward to.

I also had no idea about the increased cup sizes. That's pretty cool. There are definitely days when I need a little more Starbucks.
