I put a deposit down for the new LIFE SIZED RoboCop bust by Fred Barton on Sideshow Collectibles. I'm drooling just thinking about it. EEEEE!!! When it arrives, I'm going to take tons of pictures with it and maybe even marry it.
It's weird but lately there have been oodles of references about RoboCop in my life. I'm currently writing a paper about posthumanism and RoboCop; there are Xbox Live avatars for it; someone at work today offhandedly mentioned it; and then I see Tom Camps has a screencap from it as his profile pic on facebook!!! Madness! But why?! The reboot was shelved so there's no new movie, no new game, or comic (nothing to speak of, really). So why the hell is this movie on people's minds?
Ahem, anyway, that is my fangirl rambling about RoboCop.
