Dial Up or Broadband

Post by Nathan »

Just wondering who has what??
I used to have broadband - but since I moved back home - I am back on Dial up - going backwards is not fun - soooo slow :(
Things that used to take 4 minutes to download... now take over an hour...
...just one more

I'm on dialup. I hate it. :P

Unfortunately broadband, DSL, cable, etc, etc are not available where I live yet. (Although cable is in process, but it will prolly take years. Arr)

I've been working on getting internet via satellite, but I've yet to find a decent provider. Still looking.

I have dial-up and I hate it. I really need to switch. Downloading in 4 minutes, that sounds nice! When that worm computer virus thing was going around I tried downloading the patch and it took it 5 HOURS to download it and only to tell me that it wouldn't even work!   Another reason I would rather just buy anime than download it. :hurt: :hurt: :l :l

We've got DSL currently. But where I'm considering moving, all they'll have is dialup (I think ... will have to check into that). I don't want to go back to dialup. :bawl

I have a dial up service through my school. It's slow, but it's free.

I use cable. The creepy thing is that the cable company controls our phone, our TV and our computers... Their building is down the street about 3 miles... I've heard that they also control the electricity for some houses...
I am waiting for them to buy out the town and rename it Cox City!

It could happen.

No, Cloud, it just can't... it's just too unbearable to conceive.
