I've swallowed - and had stuck - Chicken Bone.... and coins -
the coins were the worst - I was lying on the bed - and my youngest sister was jumping around - I yawned - she chucked coins in the air - the rest was history - It ended up getting wedged in the lineing of my esophegous - My Dad simply said - it'll be fine - it will eventually come out.

Well suffice to say - I was in a heap of pain - ended up in hospital having to have an operation to get the coins out.
The pain was annoying - I can symathise with you Govo - Wanted to rip my throat out - even after they got removed - I still felt the place where they had been stuck!

Govo I hope you get that chicken bone out of there soon. My little fishbone was nothing compared to what you're going through. I sympathize with you and hope all is better soon.

Glad to hear that you're better now.

Fortunately I haven't had anything serious like that happen to me. The only thing that comes close is when I had a Dorito chip stuck sideways in my throat when I was at my high school by myself. A lot of things begin to go through your mind when you have something stuck in your throat, it's hard to breathe and you can't talk. Bah! 8O
