I am Definately a cat person. I grew up with kittens and cats and I had horrible experiences with some dogs (have been a witness to a dog bitting my sister's nose... okay that was kinda funny but it scared me as much as it scared her).
Also, my personality is like a cat... stick some cat ears on me and I'd be purring... I can Meow, Hiss, growl and purr like one too.... okay so I spent a little TOO much time with cats when I was a kid

I didn't anticipate on having a black female cat and a white male cat or I would have named them Luna and Artemis... oh well.

I'm split 50/50 on this one. I had dogs growing up and would love to have one now but don't have the time or space to properly care for one now. I do have to admit that I dislike most small dogs though ^^; All the ones I've known are either meek and cower at the slightest sound/movement, or have a Napoleon complex and yap incessantly.
Presently I have a wonderful cat who's a Ragdoll and Maine Coon mix(Can you say uber-fluffy? ) and also have 2 foster kitties in the household keeping him busy at the moment

Thanks to everyone who cast there vote in the poll. 
I'm a little surprised by the outcome. I truly thought there would have been a larger margin in the outcome. It seemed to stay pretty even throughout the poll.
I have to say that I'm not surprised to see so many animal lovers amongst this group, since this is such a great group of caring people.
The pictures of the ferrets were so cute and I would like to see that vicious bunny.
