Which skin should be stripped own for an "At work"

I have heard a couple requests for a skin with no banners, perhaps no big text, no avatars....etc. I have been reluctant to add a 13th skin because, quite frankly, adding a new hack or feature generally involves making the same code addition or modification to each skin. One hack I installed (contact management) involved modifying 14 files per skin. Do the math and just for the displaying on the skins, I had to modify 168 files. That doesn't count the core php files that actually do all the behind the scenes page generation. Too many skins and it will just not be practical to add anymore new toys.

Now....it's not all doom and gloom. I can take an existing skin, copy it, and make some minor changes like removing the banner and big "Anime Beta v8.0" lettering. So, I will ask you guys.....if I was to take one skin ad strip it down, which one would it be? Cast your votes and I will take and chop the winner the weekend of the 13th.

I voted for subSilver ... I think its probably the best choice, just because it's mellow as far as colors go. ^_^;

Although Aeolus is really nice too - I *love* this skin

Anyway ... in reality any skin would work since you'd be copying it to make the modifications. My vote doesn't count though, since I can't access anything at work.

that gets stripped......its like my dream skin....love it

I think Magician is going to copy it before he strips it .. so there would be the original of .. say .. subSilver, and then the stripped down work version. I hope, at least. ^_^

i vote for sub-silver aswell

i was using sub-silver until Fl Blue 3D came out

now only if there was one with gaara in it

Correct. I'm not going to get rid of any of the existing skins. I will just take one, probably subSilver, copy it to make a 13th skin, and call that unfancy generic one something like "atwork"

I'm still working on subWork. There are 93 files I have to modify just to make the base copy of subSilver, and that's before I start making changes like removing the banner, avatars, big text, signatures, color bars.....etc.
