E-mail Address Banned Error When Signing Up

Hi

I'm sorry to bother you but yesterday when I tried to sign up to the forum I tried to use this e-mail address

mathew_cooper01@hotmail.com

Anyway I got an error message saying that this e-mail address had been banned but yesterday was the first time that I visited this forum

If you read the legelese page you have to agree to when joining the forum, it states that all hotmail addresses are banned. I had to make the decision to ban hotmail after getting close to 50 bogus accounts that were created for the sole purpose of mining email addresses of users for spamming. I don't advertise, I don't use pop-ups, and I ABSOLUTELY won't tolerate people signing up just for the purpose of stealing data from this forum to spam or advertise to beta members.

I know it's inconvienent, but sadly it's necessary. I am looking at options to prevent these automated accounts from being created, but until I find something effective, all hotmail addresses are banned and cannot be used to create Beta user accounts.
