If there's someone that I wouldn't want to bid against, generally, I know their
ID anyways. Also, for a lot of people, it's not going to matter as they are
using deputies for YJ, so you can't tell which of their customers you may be
bidding against.

It doesn't really matter to me. I have a list of all the beta members I know on ebay and YJ already. I cross reference it ocassionally but I generally know who I frequently bid against.

I voted no too, because I know most Beta member's that I compete with on YJ. A pm goes a long way to either backing off or digging your heels in with out hurting anyone's feelings. :)

It's a thoughtful idea, but as has been stated earlier, the possibility of abuse is there too.

The people that I know that might bid against me I already know their bidder ID or know that they use a deputy service so it wouldn't help me in my case.

What would be nice though is if someone would put together a Tough Bidder List. That's a list of bidders that are the most difficult to win against. :D
