Display of Signatures Poll

Post by Keropi »

How many of you have your settings for displaying board signatures set at "limited to non-images" or completely turned off?

I don't have my display of signatures on the limited settings, but I'm wondering how many Beta members do. I'm just curious as to the percentage of people that are not even able to see anyones signatures.

Perhaps 50%. Only just? as to the percentage of people that are not even able to see anyones signatures is an interesting subject to me too.

I have signatures displayed by default and use adblock to block the really
obnoxiously large ones.

I'm tempted to turn signatures off now not because of the image ones, but
because of some really large text ones. It's annoying to have to scroll
through half a page signatures (and usually one line replies) to read threads.

Cool. I have a lot of silly replies.

I like to see other people's siggies and banners. But some are a little big, but overall it's okay. This is coming from someone with dialiup. :l Have mercy on us slow folks! :^^:

I have mine turned on, because I really don't mind most people's signatures (they can be entertaining). But a few folks really do need to make their images smaller and/or limit the amount of text. I second Elfstalker: please take pity on those of us with dial-up!

Full vision because some sigs are little works of art (and humour).

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

So the 1MB image of naked Hevn in my signature isn't showing for you?

I have everything switched on too, because I enjoy seeing all the different banners and quotes, but I agree with Rei and Elfstalker.
I really do not need to see complete pages of books or comics quoted in every single post.

I love short witty quotes and remarks though, those are fun! :)

I have it set to text only... with my dial up... i wish i could afford DSL or Cable... but when my dial up is $8/month and the cheapest DSL/Cable for my area is $40-50/month, i don't have much of a choice. =(
