A french corner

Post by sulian »

Hello to all

I have a small suggestion : it's possible to have a french topic inside this forum ??

I'm currently working on a french community based on PHP and MySQL and talking about cel and anime, I think a french topic will help me in my project.

Suuure! why not...but only if you bring the wine and croissants! :D

And then I'll request a Dutch corner...and will bring the cheese!!
Maybe we can convince Gabe to ask for a Belgian corner so he can bring the beer!

Oh no.. you can join the Dutch corner all you want Joost, but I should insist on having a Flemish corner as wel.
Because, as Wendy and I found out on several occasions, although Dutch and Flemish have the same grammatical rules and have 70% of the vocubulary in common, the other 30% can lead to some tricky situations.

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

Interesting explanation. Do you mean your name is Wendy and he or she found out on several occasions although Dutch and Flemish have the same grammatical rules and have 70% of the vocubulary in common the other 30% can lead to some tricky situations ?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
