:-) I'll think about that.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

How Cool! I just added myself
It eluded us then, but ...tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms further...and one fine morning- So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.

Too bad the letters in the background move. If they didn't I could claim that I live next to the letter "I". :D

Let's wait and see what they do.

I just added myself. The world map image wasn't available so it was just grey with yellow dots, but I'm a yellow dot now so that's neat.

I think we could do with more yellow dots. *nods*

Is this map still available somewhere? When I clicked the link in kymaera's post on the first page, I got an error message.

Wow! That's a lot of people who aren't here anymore.

Someone should start a new map.

I got a message from Frappr not too long ago. Their site changed. I'll get you the proper link by the end of this weekend at the latest. Maybe sooner if I turn on my home computer tonight.

Thank you! I just need a quick fix on what we all know, which is that Beta tends to be North America/Europe centered rather than Asian (though with some representation there).

Besides, I think my orange dot needs to be moved from 18201 to Cephiro.

Okay, after some digging, I found said email. Frappr changed their site into a paid site. All free maps were removed so the beta/RS map is gone unless someone paid for it. The email was from Dec. 2009. How time flies?!
1. For those of you who are loyal to the classic style map, we are offering a simple payment option. $24.99 will keep your map alive and kicking for one full year. The deadline for receipt of payment will be January 1, 2010. At that time we will stop serving the maps.

2. For those who simply want to save their map data, we just released an export tool that gives you access to all the friends and photos from your maps creating a fully offline archive in the popular KML format right on your desktop. To use the exporter just look for the links on your map page on Frappr.com.

Sad but happily not central to the data I'm submitting. I think it will be enough if I get states or countries to go with my list of references.

Ah man. It's gone. Sometimes you don't know what you got til it's gone.

I should have saved a screencap of it, but it's too late now.

Oh, it was only the U.S.? I thought it was worldwide?

Thanks for the picture though. Where is that from?
