How long? Indeed we will see how that works .

HA!!! I wouldn't have posted here if you hadn't said that! :nya:
I've tried cutting back on my tiresome posts, but it seems so has everyone else. I'm still stuck at 9th place on the most posters list, and my posts per day is only down to 6.31 as of this writing.
I did hit that message yesterday as I was trying to post in the word association thread, but just figured I'd accidentally tried to double post or something.
Good to know it wasn't just me. :)
heh heh BTW, Ky, I LOVE your title. :P :P :P So appropriate! :bny

I have started downloading many of the admin tool hacks that I use here and which will have to be recoded into new beta. While browsing for the existing ones I use, I found a new one to manage flood posting on a more granualar level. I will be able to set different time increments for specific sections rather than a global rule. It's downloaded and will be installed on the new site.

Now, hon, I thought I told you this before. Some of us notice your cute little computer tricks and jokes--we just don't tell you for fear of you getting a bigger head. :P Baakay has employed a whole gaggle of us to keep you down. :P :D :friends:

Quite frankly, I'm always doing about ten things while I'm online, and I tend to write long posts, so I haven't really noticed any time delays. Plus, the wireless signal in my room sucks . . . I probably should go back to keeping my laptop by the router. :)

Tut, tut. How demanding! :P

The only time I've run into it (seriously! all blabbermouth jokes notwithstanding!) is when I realize right after I posted that I made some horrific typo or grammatical error. I quick-like try to fix it before anyone notices and laughs uproariously at the English major who can't sprechen sie English. :D

I noticed the other day, that if you try and start a post with a dash, instead of it posting, you get the not-so-soon window.

I posted in one topic in the General Cel forums, clicked to go to forum, scrolled to the top to the header, to click up one level, scrolled down to the For Sale section, looked at the topic headers in several sections, found one, went to post - and still got the TOO SOON message!

Guess I'll have to keep my crocheting next to the computer again. :P Haven't done that since dial-up days....
