Hmm...I haven't done any holiday themes so far. The ones you've seen were actually done as a batch back in August.

It's definitely the work of a dark magician

A solution is to block the script that produces the effect. For example, with firefox + Noscript plugin you can block the scripts from the site. That means goodbye to the snow, but also goodbye to good features like emoticon recognition (when you click on them).

Well, in any case it will only last this month.

Is there anyway we could get the snow to stop? It is annoying and does strange things to IE sometimes(I don't go to Midori's website as much now because she has it on hers). Which it is worse because she has large images.

it lags my computer. It is nice, but at the same time very annoying. Cute the first day, not so much anymore.
