Messages taking 2 days to leave from outbox to sent box....?

Post by Serendipity_Collections »

Does anyone know why this is happening to me..?? Is anyone else having these issues. After almost 24 hours without it being actually sent and having it still in "pending" or limbo mode is a pain. I have never had this happen before. There is someone I am trying to send info to and I am afraid when it does get released they are going to have like 3 different messages from me all because the first one didn't send correctly until days later.

This has happened to me 3 times (with different people) and the current person who has not gotten a message from me we are on the 2nd set of messages and it's taking 2 days so far

The message will stay in the outbox until the person you
sent it to picks it up. Then it gets moved to the sent box.

If something is staying in your outbox for two days, its
because the receiver hasn't read it yet. :)

Also, you can edit pms as long as they are in your "outbox." :D

I've always wondered what would happen if you edited a PM in your Outbox, the other person read the PM and then you hit the "submit your edit" button. :wow:

Because I've almost had that happen since I edit so many times.

Just know though if you edit the pm you wind up sending another email stating they have a pm. They could head to their inbox expecting 2 pms but only see 1 that you edited once.

It's not a big deal. I just thought I'd point it out. :)
Can you hear this fangirl squee?!

Why do you have to do it?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

That's kind of funny. :) I've never had someone edit a pm they sent to me. I once edited one when I was selling something, becuase I wanted to add a note about insurance or something, and I noticed that the recipient hadn't read it yet. That's the extent of my pm editing, though.
