Sites like this approximate the "value" of a site based on the amount of traffic the site receives. The site is using the traffic volume to approximate the amount of ad revenue that could possibly be earned on a daily basis. ;)

I know of people who buy and sell websites regualrly, it can be quite profitable but it's all based on ad revenue, something I'm not too keen on myself.
Still, it's interesting to see my site could be worth $1817.70 based on the sums generated on that webpage. To be honest, I think it's worth more, same goes for Anime Beta ;)
