Stealing data from this poll as well. I had to vote to view it, so disregard one of the 51+ votes. Interesting that this poll of active participants, like the census I took from the Memberlist, suggests that most newbies fall into the 23-35 age groups rather than younger anime fans. Collecting anime art, at least as the hobby has developed, does seem to require some maturity and probably some kind of more-or-less profitable day job, which increasingly is cutting out the teens and undergrads that Beta used to draw.
Thanks, star-phoenix, for starting this poll and asking a question that reasonably needed to be checked from another angle.

Keropi, I agree with Duotrouble - that phrase is awesome!! (If you don't mind... I like, totally need to steal it and use it somewhere XD)just think when you're chronologically gifted you need to
Belldandy... omg that Rikku cosplayer rocks ^_^! Great costume and idea lol. It reminds me of a pic in a Street Fighter gag manga I had as a child once, with the entire cast of SFII as oldies (including a Cammy with saggy camo legs ROFLMAO)

Personally, I think it's a fun term...probably because it only mentions the good part about getting older - gaining more life experience.Sylia wrote:Keropi, I agree with Duotrouble - that phrase is awesome!! (If you don't mind... I like, totally need to steal it and use it somewhere XD)
I heard someone using the term on the radio many, many years ago, but I've rarely heard anyone using it since. Not where I'm at anyway.

Ha ha Yeah!
I agree it's the positivity of it that rocks it . Randomly I just thought of the "Aged Katamari" level in the Me and My Katamari game I have on PSP... the one where you have to collect "chronologically gifted" things for your Katamari to make the heron happy.. I'm sure someone knows what I'm talking about lol
