Movin on up....

Enough is enough. I'm moving Beta this coming weekend to a new host. I am going to redirect the www.anime-beta.net URL to the new host tomorow night. It will take about 3 days to fully propigate around the world once I move it.

Effective immediately, everyone should access the site with this URL:

http://www.oftheoak.com/anime-beta/phpBB/index.php

I am going to alter the cookie so (hopefully) there won't be the same problems with the "remember me" option working and with the "posts since last visit" tool not showing any new posts.....

However, these problems may crop up for everyone. If so, please be patient and grit thru it. The new host promises better than 99% uptime.

Beta will be offline Saturday evening and will be back open on sunday morning. It should be accessable by the www.anime-beta.net address by then, but in case it isn't, I will add a temporary link to this announcement once I figure out what it will be.

Sorry for all the inconvienence. A word of advice.....STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM AVAHOST FOR WEB HOSTING!!!!! THEY [glow=red][shadow=red]SUCK[/shadow][/glow] OUT LOUD!!!

The move is done. Beta now lives on lunarpages. They actually advertise and promise better than 99% uptime so we shouldn't have the constant outage problem we had on Avahost.

I think I will use Beta's old webspace to host obscure unsigned random local band mp3s or something like that.....maybe my collection of hockey fight clips.

Anyway....I'm rambling. I've been up literally all night working on this move and I'm going outside for a while now.

Sorry for all the downtime and trouble. We will all be happier for this move.
