I just finished installing a hack that will let you guys turn off avatars and signatures as you surf the forum. I know I said I would work on something to turn the RPG display off or limit it to just the RPG section, but I did this one first.
To use it, go into your profile. Scroll down to the "Preferences" section. You will find 2 new options labelled "Display Avatar" and "Display Signature". They are pretty self explanatory. Avatar is either on or off. The Signature can be limited to just the text that someone has added, showing no images, or it can be turned off altogether. Part of this hack was to remove the signature and avatar in the PMs as well, but it doesn't work yet. The hack was written for a different version of phpBB so some of the code is wrong, and I haven't rewritten the PM portion so it works yet.
Once that part is finished, I will get to work adapting it for the RPG characters.
