I'm confused...

Okay so I was looking at the "help" section of Mandarake with regards to what payment forms they accept. It clearly states "no debit card" and yet as I read through the forum it seems some people are able to pay via their debit card. *scratch head* If possible at all I'd rather not touch my credit card (at all). My debit card is a mastercard but i don't know. With all the payment problems I've read I'm so utterly confused now. What works... And what doesn't? Please clarify and thank you for the help. I really did try reading all previous post but it just got more muddled.

HOld on now. I am trying to pay for my stuff... and my debit card isnt going through. WAHHHHHHHH!??!?!?!?! It worked for my auctions. o_O it even has the verifing thing they had me do last time. >_>

I dunno. I guess I will use my credit card. very strange. I could have sworn I used this card last time. I Remember the weird verifing thing they did. ~_~ gah.

May I ask, is your debit card Visa or Mastercard?

I use a Visa debit card which can be run like a credit card. Never had any problems.

I have also used a debit card with them. It has the VISA logo but there is no VISA card attached to the account.

I heard a rumor that they did not like these type of cards because they are charged more with a debit transaction than a CC transaction.

Hmmm very interesting. Unfortunately my debit card is a mastercard... I wonder how those fare?

ALRIGHT! hahaha I found out why it didnt work. I went shopping last night and a hour and a half later I was on beta. Wheni read this I decided to go ahead and pay for my stuff and my BANK put a restriction on my card. I accidently paid for it twice, which they automaticly reversed. I called them today and they said since this transaction takes place in Tokyo Japan, the system put a restriction on it because I made a purchase at Wal-Mart and then an hour and a half later I made a purchase in Tokyo.

I told them the story about what happened and they understood. They just run the credit cards through a system in tokyo so it shows tokyo. yep. I re did it just now, and my payment went though fine ^___^

Ah goodie. LOL... But hey that's good of your bank. I once had two debits in my account from Russia. I was so scared I closed the account.

I had a $9 charge from a porn site stationed in AZ. I closed my account and reversed the charge. The bank was only semi-helpful tho. I understand they hate losing money, but that was a freaking illegal charge! I sure as hell am not paying for porn I didn't buy rightfully.
