Man, that was a kick ass cel. I never thought it would go up that much though. I wish i was rich....

Well I know I was going to go for it. 1K would have been the upper reaches of my limit on that one. I didn't think it would reach much over that anyways.

I mean full-figured, minimal line fading, original matching background, and an early DBZ villian that some consider the best of all, is pretty amazing.

$3,000 amazing? Well, not to me, not by a long shot. But, hey, someone obviously got a dream cel, or had a lot of money to blow.

So congrats to whoever the winner may be and I do hope it pops up somewhere.

That auction really took me by surprise. I never thought a Frieza cel would go over 1k. I know it's a armorless pan/matching BG of him but still...

Congrats to whoever won it as there was quite a battle for it. I'm hoping to see a better scan of it in someones gallery.

Wow, I have been out of the loop for a while but that amazes me. Around $3200 for that cel then? It is beautiful though, next to zero line fade with matching BG and the perfect full figure armour-less pan. A1 end, I can almost understand why someone would pay that much for it. Reminded me of the $4000 Gohan on YJ.

It may look like a non-RS or non-Anime-Beta member might have purchased it. I'm not a big fan of Frieza, but I must admit that was one bad cel that was for auction. It's one of those perfect set-up cels, but I'm still in awe of the price. There is only one cel I can think of off-hand that I would purchase at that price, but sadly, finding this cel will probably be moot.
