WOW. There are some stunning pieces there that sent shivers down my spine!

Black Magic M-66 hanken AND settei sketches!

The most impressive was the Robot Carnival set, paintings by Takashi Nakamura, Yasuomi Umetsu, [possibly] Katsuhiro Otomo and a few hanken to boot! I've never seen anything like that for auction in my life!

Fist of the North Star heaven too...

CURSE YOU MANDARAKE, CURSE YOU!! :hurt: :P
Out of the gloom a voice said unto me;
"Smile and be happy, things could be worse".
So I smiled and was happy
and behold;
things did get worse...

^^

That would be a lot, Flonne, however the starting price is actually 12,000y. You added an extra zero at the end.
I'm sure 12,000y seems more reasonable. How much has a set like this sold for in the past [if ever]?

No question, that is an amazing collection... can't wait to see what price it commands.

ahh... I added too many zero's. Image I didn't mean to! I just sorta hoped it started less than $120...

I think they went for an above average "copy" amount, but I didn't follow the auctions til the end since I have little interest in copies.

Code Geass is just a very popular series.

That's a dangerous comment to make. Almost like you're inviting Everyday auctions or YJ to put up a really nice artwork of one of your remaining top characters. :dgrin

ok I totally feel like a doofner for asking
but I haven't won a BWA in almost a year
so I can't remember for the life of me--

do you pay for your items after April 20th when
all the auctions have closed?? :shrug
Or do you have to e-mail Mandy for the invoice?

<=== needs brain juice :crazy :cucu

From what I interpreted from the notification email, they were going to calculate shipping after all the auctions end. Since usually invoices aren't emailed out/paid until that's included, I'm assuming we have to wait til then?

I could definitely be wrong though. :P X|

The Black Magic artwork finished yesterday, Genom. I didn't even get to see what the final cost was or save the images because I had a power cut!!
Along with missing the close of a couple of the Fist of the North Star setups, I got pretty pissed off I can tell you.
Now that just ruined my whole database...

I thought today would be better but was outid on my regular YJ auctions by my new nemesis. I may as well not bid in the first place.
At least I can take solace in the two rare hentai series wins from YJ last Sunday.
