I'm the most surprised that this is in the normal auctions instead of the BWA.

But I have yet to find a year where something good doesn't pop up in the normal auctions while the BWA is running but I really wonder how many people are going to miss that beauty because of the timing.

Well it definitely wasn't missed by at least 2 people to get up to over $500.

Yep it sure did (well that's high in my opinion). But with one day left, I wonder if it'll jump again at the end.

I want this, but not willing to pay THAT much for it.
Who knew it was that popular? I never would have guessed that it would go that high.

Overall, I am surprised at how high Somethings have gone while so many others only appear to have one bid. I guess we'll see what happens in the final hours.

True but, that's pretty much nothing for that shot. I'm used to seeing these at $1500+ though, there's still plenty of time left for it to spike.

It's condition might scare some people off or reduce how much they're willing to drop on it. I know that would be the case for me if I was an X collector.

I'm betting the kamui cel on regular auctions goes much higher. Like has already been mentioned....I have yet to see one from that sequence go for less than $1500. The Inuyasha cel of Miroku/Sango wedding will probably go much higher. If it doesn't I'll be very surprised. I'm almost positive that it'll hit the 4 digit mark. At the price it's at right now I think it's actually cheap for that shot.

The price just blows my mind - & it's not even over yet!
That ending price is just.... :jaw

Well it ended below $1000, so I guess the person got a pretty good deal.

I'm amazed how low a lot of auctions have gone. I managed to snag one of the cels I was going after for around half what I've seen every other cel in the sequence cel for in my eight years of collecting. I don't know if it's because of a downturn in the cel market itself or just less competition from US bidders feeling the effects of the poor economy and bidding more conservatively. I like getting a good deal and all but, I think it sort of sad to see things being devalued.

Maybe this is just me, but I felt that the Trunks transforming cel was also quite cheap.

I mean we all know how much a Future Trunks can go for and that shot is from him transforming into a Super-Saiyan in his first appearance.

$850 just doesn't quite seem enough somehow. :? But maybe that's me again.

I know I would have def' gone for that if I wasn't already tied up on another beauty at the min. :)

Anyone notice how high this one went...? O_o

http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/auc_e/item ... 0660100003

I tried for the first Lunar sketch, but miserably lost. :P I just pray that at one point a sketch will come along when I'm not horribly pinched for money.

I know 8O

I couldn't believe it myself -- I did try for the other OP (I liked that one better  ) but had to bow out when it started going too high as I really had my eye on another set-up that I just had to have 8)

*sigh* I had to stop once this auction passed 60000 yen. I doubt I'll ever see any youkai Hakkai sketches again, but the way our economy is right now...

I seriously hope the winner is someone from A-B, or at least someone with an online gallery. Because I will stalk their gallery from now until the end of time!

My cat Seeley is a Sailor Moon fan, too!

I didn't anticipate on having a black female cat and a white male cat or I would have named them Luna and Artemis... oh well.
