That AstroBoy is really cool. It's no surprise that a couple people were willing to fight for it!! I'm sure who ever won will treasure it.

I think a lot of the books are manga. Some of them list which volume and the title of the book that is signed, but not all.

There are also a good portion of yaoi signed items. I think some of them are from that artist who got in trouble for copying ads, since I think I recognize the art from that comparison that was done.
Some of them are really nice though, and if they stay cheap, I might pick one up for my friend who is a huge yaoi fan.

I didn't get the Nurse Witch Komugi one. (Does anyone remember that, that's the anime I used my make my AMV?) I just didn't think that I would value it enough to compete for it. It was cute though!

Mandarake have had a large number of autographed books/shikishi for some time now. Like you, Ducky, I've noticed more over the last few months. These tend to be of lesser-known manga artists and surprisingly many are erotic titles- all types from lolita to gebo, straight to queer. It's difficult to tell what the content might be looking a the first picture in the auction because a simple face drawing and signature doesn't give much away- so don't be upset if you click the second accompanying picture to find it's a hentai book ^__^

So, if you're into raw Japanese manga, get in there and nab some interesting signed copies!
