Mandarake billing cycles

Post by Shampoo »

Hey guys :D

A question I've often had but never thought to ask..

Whats the longest time between when you paid for an auction
and when you got charged for it?

Also, does the exchange rate lock in when you "pay" for the auction or
when they finally submit the charge to your credit card? :?

I dont buy from Mandarake quite as much as I use
to years ago so now that I've won something quite large
I'm starting to get antsy...
the yen exchange went from 103 when I paid to 94 (today) as it stands.
:bwall

Ive had Mandy charge my credit card as quickly as
3 days to as long as 3 MONTHS.
Im hoping this wont take as long but smooth my financial spirits,..
when does the exchange rate lock in on your plastic??

>_<;;;

I've only bought once from Mandarake, and they charged my credit card a little bit over a month after the auction ended. :x

I have had it take as long as a month afterwards.
The bank always charges the most current exchange
rate at the time the final charge comes through.
That is my bank - not sure how it works with other
banks. :?

I've had the same experience. It's usually a month for me and the bank charges the most current rate of exchange. So typically, you just have to cross your fingers that the rate doesn't change much or changes in your favor in that time period.
Can you hear this fangirl squee?!
