Wow...that's BWA for you.

These prices are fun to look. I just wouldn't want to pay them.

Just received my KOR Op2 cel. :D
Those who were oogling at it on Mandarake can now have a closer view at it for a few days.

<image removed>

As you can see i'm not an artist of scanning or photoshopping. But well, i guess the result it's not that bad considering the cel is huge and that the background was quite damaged, as stated on the auction.

I did some photoshop to try to soften the merging points and specially to delete the background damages. (In the auction the cel and background are misaligned leaving most of the damage on the right side out).

Man I've just won my DNA2 auction, which is a good thing, but I thought it would go for much more then it did. There's always a bit of a scrap over Karin cels normally.

Got what I wanted :jump
Not from the big auction, but from the everyday one (since people where to busy looking at the big one to bid on what I wanted XD)

Funny that the shot from the same sequence went for higher on the
big auction, and the better shot on everyday was low ^^

Now the waiting game begins.....

Congrats, moonrabbit! 8) I've gotten some good deals too from the everyday auctions when the BWA is happening. I always make a point to look there every time I log in to look at the BWA. Of course, I'm not currently looking for anything at the moment so I'm no competition for anyone. :wink:

Thanks Duo ^_^

I guess it's also partly do to the surplus of cels from the show..."Detective Conan"....All from the same ending...but lately I have seen a BUNCH of them...better for me...since now they are getting sold for insanely low prices :dban

But yes....BWA helps the everyday bidders a lot! Since they are saving their funds for the big auction :D

you on collecting break Duo? :P

Yup! I've been on a break for almost 2 years now. In my heyday, I'd buy pretty much a cel a week. I was an addict. Now, I'm a recovering one. :P :^^: Plus, I'm working on my house and nursing an old, sick dog. :wink:
