Nice one Mr Haddock! I was tempted to bid on that myself but wouldn't have gone past 8,000-9,000y since I don't actively collect from that series, (only Burn Up Scramble).

Aww thank you Krafty and Beatrush, I just realised it also happens to be my first bw win as well. There is another nice one of Rio up if either of you are interested, but I've got to hope not to win the other auction I'm embroiled in on a certain Miss Aoi of DNA2 fame. :hurt:

Sorry for the bad luck on your auctions Krafty, I saw that Virus one and thought you might be in there voting for it even before I'd seen your post about it.

Out of curiosity, did anyone see a winner for that great original SM moon tiara action attack cel? I was being nosy that friday afternoon and saw that it was fairly priced with 7 hrs to go b/f it ended with no bidders.

I know what your going to say.... curiosity killed the cat.... but you can't blame me for biting back. j/k :)

You can see all the auction results by clicking "Before/Opened Auction-Closed Auction" drop down choices at the top of the screen that's next to the "Big Web Auction". :)

Is it me or do the prices on BWA tend to be higher than usual? The prices seem to be defying the economic recesssion. I mean wow, this has got to be one of the most expensive anime artwork:

Still there were lots of beauties this time round, congrats to those who won. :^^:

Congrats to everyone who got what they wanted!! :)

Yay! I got the two items I was after. I'm very happy, however my wallet is in tears. :D

Which brings up a question . . . my bill is going to end up being around the $4K mark. :O :hurt: I live in the US and usually we don't have to worry about import duties on our cel purchases, however I got an email from Mandarake asking if I wanted to declare the full amount or not because my items were so expensive. That got me to start worrying about it. Is there some limit over which import duties will start to be charged? I can't remember if I have ever spent so much on one shipment before and if I have, it was probably through a deputy service. I'm debating on whether to have them declare the full amount or not. Has anyone recently received a shipment declared at such a large amount?

Can anyone help me out with some advice?
Thanks!!
