There are about 8-10 auctions I will be watching, luckily they all don't end on the same day/time. Thats been a thorn for me before....All those Eva cels are great! Spice and Wolf sets, Bebop cels, Lupin III Hanken are nice too. I hope to see many of these auctions wind up in Beta-ites' galleries! Good Luck to all who participate!

Premium is 10%, right? So, that would already make it at $5,200+ with shipping. Should be very interesting to see how much all these auctions go for this round.

Indeed. And now it has risen to 450,200 JPY ($5296.93 USD). With a 10% premium would come to 495,200 JPY ($5827.95)
Still your dad's pocket change gleaned out of the bottom of his overstuffed arm chair to modern art collectors. I'm still chuckling over an art dealer's comment after a 2007 auction that netted $325 million in winning bids: "One million dollars is the new 10 grand!"

There was that one Mononoke cel I was watching that sold for 961,100 yen ($11,346.40) + 10% fees = ~ $12,700. I think that is the highest I have seen a Mononoke cel like this one go for. I figured that would go for about $6,000-8,000. http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/auc_e/item ... 0210100002
Extremely interesting, on the way to reach the previous Tezuka handwritten manuscript (early 40s high school manga club manuscript) that reached 11 millions JPY.
