Thief at Mandarake!!

Post by Rekka Alexiel »

I'm sorry, I just had to share this. Apparently some guy stole a Tetsujin robot toy that was worth about $2,500 and they uploaded a warning page to this guy, demanding that he return the item within a week or else they will remove the mozaic from his image... Plus, I was actually there, just down the hall, about an hour before this happened. ^^;; Too bad I couldn't have caught the thief! That would have been epic!

Wow pretty brave of him. Did he really think he could get away with it?

Sure it may be worth a lot, but that's so sad that a grown man would steal toys -___- lol

Very expensive toys.... I'm waiting to see if he actually returns it or if they'll release his photo... xD

I remember watching a Japanese detective show where the police/detective group were battling with a female thief...then the female thief took off her skin face mask and was revealed to be a dude that looked nothing like the mask. So perhaps the thief knew this would happen and voluntarily got caught on camera to troll the store? That footage picture just looks like the thief posing at camera.

lol I don't know, but it looks like the toilet is just behind him, so it's a shot in the middle of the hallway, which is probably why he looks like he's facing the camera. There's no other way to face, really, when you're walking that way.

Seeing anime/manga fan faces pixelated at events and stores is extremely common in Japan, but seeing their faces UNPIXELATED in photos is pretty unusual. :D

Let's see how this turns out.
