Nope.

There are usually a couple of Dragonball cels from all series every BWA, but unless they advertise that the auction will heavily feature Dragonball items, there won't be a ton of them. Usually, the really nice stuff is reserved for auctions that occur during periods where people in Japan receive their holiday bonus and are more flush with cash than usual - So, the January BWA and the April BWA typically feature the nicest stuff.

Most of us secretly pray that there will be nothing that they want for sale on the BWA as the items usually sell for a lot more than they would on YJ.

Patience, young padawan :rollin ;). Once the auction starts, you'll have plenty of time to look, register, and bid on anything you like. You should also know that Mandarake charges a commission fee on top of the winning bid that is a percentage of the amount of the winning bid.

And yes, most of the time the BWA has DBZ cels.

I've been lucky for awhile -- there hasn't been anything I'm remotely interested in in the BWA for probably a few years. I'm really not complaining, as its left me more money to spend on other things :D.

What is really interesting about that Vegeta / Nappa cel is that the background is perfectly correct!

I've been rewatching all of Dragonball (and Dragonball Z) with my 5-year-old son :) It's sort of shocking to me that a cel that old is in such perfect condition.

PS Don't worry about me, if it's not Future Trunks I won't break out the big bucks. I am looking for a really good SSJ Vegeta though, I realized I don't have one anymore :/

Looks like the cels are up :) Not many this time around (at least for now, who knows if they are done), which is for the best since I've been terrible these past two months XD I'd try for that Vegeta if I wasn't sure it was going to go way above my max, haha.

That Vegeta Nappa cel is outstanding. I may take a crack at it. I bet its 700 to a thousand USD easily.

I'd say so, especially since fairly average DBZ cels have been going for insane prices on Mandarake. It's sort of nice that Dragon Ball Super has got collectors putting some awesome stuff on the market, but it's also painful to see how high they are going >.< It's even worse on eBay T^T

I agree, the ebay prices are a little up there. I have seen some great cels on Mandarake go for about the same as some not so good cels on ebay. I believe alot of new collectors of Dragonball merchandise are just finding out about the animation cels, as I have seen a few being bought and posted on some Dragonball groups I frequent, which is a good thing.

I may bid or I may not actually. I really do not need it at the moment, I've spent so much this year on cels, but its such a great piece.

What do you guys think of the cel with everyone on? king cold, cel, ginyu force etc. I dont remember that scene from the show, will have to go and rewatch thast clip online now, pretty cool to have them all in one cel

Don't know if there is any point in my trying for the nappa cel, my max budget isnt far off from its starting point ha..
It says the cel is cut, is it actually cutting off the top of Nappas head? thats a pretty bad cel cut if so...
