I'm oh-so-ecstatic to have won the auction, but oh man, OW!! Watching the bid "walk" up to 100,100 in the last few minutes was nerve-wracking, to say the least. I may need therapy. :hurt: Or at least chocolate. :D

:$$$: Needless to say, there will be more eBay auctions by evilminion in the next few days.

I'm afraid to even ask... I never even looked at the Mandarake auction - I'm glad now that I didn't.

Hector the Collector loved these things with all his soul,
Loved them more than shining diamonds, loved them more than glistenin' gold.
Hector called to all the people,"Come and share my treasure trunk!"
And all the silly sightless people came and looked...and called it junk.

Whoops, sorry! It was a set of Full Metal Alchemist production sketches. Production layouts, actually. Around 130 of 'em. Not sure whether I'm going to put them in binders, or just pile 'em on the floor and roll around like Scrooge McDuck in his money vault. ;)

I am happy, yes I am... but now I am OH, so broke. Heeheee!

Oh, HO, no. :D Mine! <- *best Finding Nemo seagull voice* I wuv my Hunter x Hunter cels!

Most of what will be going to the 'Bay this time isn't art, actually. I'll be selling videogame and movie collectables, and electronic gear, methinks. :) I've already pared down my cel gallery as far as I can bear... losing more pretties right now would practically do me in. :hurt:

EDIT - Oh, wait... unless you'd like a studio repro cel of Kuroro all wrapped up in 'Pica's chains, for about half of what I paid?... that one's heading to eBay otherwise. I love-love the image, but I just can't bring myself to collect repros (have to draw the line somewhere, or I'll go even more broke!!).

A few of those sketches would raise some money :? I put in a token bid at the beginning, but my server crashed and I missed the end. :l

*grin* True, true... but then I wouldn't have my full share of 'em. And ohhhhhhhh, I am SO greedy!!

'Course, I'm SUPPOSED to be greedy. It's all part of being evil, after all! :D

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

Heeheeee!! :kiss Not to worry, I found three good friends to share both the burden and the bounty. :D

Oooooooo, you HAVE to watch more of FMA! Really-really-really... it's one of the best series I've ever seen! It's rather lacking in either dogs or dog-boys, though, which might detract from your own enjoyment... :crackup ...but I assure you that it's wonderful nonetheless.

(Saw episode 28 this morning, wheeeee!)

Is there a problem getting DSL or cable internet in your area? I used to request fansubs on CDs before July 2003, but found out with the money I was spending on the CDs that it was cheaper to just use cable internet for $44.95 a month. Plus I can get the fansub the same day it's released which is especially good if the last episode I saw was a cliffhanger and I want to see it right away. 8O
