Is Mandarake down?

Post by Trilogy »

I've been trying to go to Mandarake all afternoon, but both shop and auction are down. I get this error message: The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

Is anyone else having trouble or is it just me?

Phooey! I can't get past the very first page that gives the English, Japanese, French, and Spanish options. Well, thanks for letting me know that it really is just me!

Very strange, now I'm getting the error message too. :x

It really was working a little while ago.

Hmm. I wonder if I'm missing the end of the auction for the really cool Spike from the Toys in the Attic episode of Bebop. Oh well, I think the trace lines were repainted, so it probably wasn't a great buy anyway (not that I actually have a clue about how repainted trace lines affect a cel's value!). :)

I think they extend auctions if there are problems though.

I think the Spike cel you are talking about ended this morning.
I was on there around 7 this morning and noticed it had like 3 hrs
left to go......I could be wrong though..... X|

Yep, you're right. And someone got it for a song--8000 yen (assuming "douga is stuck, re-painted, small paper fractions stuck on the color trace lines" aren't too bad).
