I'm still in the muck and mire about not having a job

But anyways, I have to raise about 1K.

For some reason using those two sentances in the same post
kinda struck me as not making sense.

I may sound like I am being a bitch here, and I may take
flack for this, but I am just confused.

If you don't have a job, why are you trying to raise $1000
for more cels?? I would think you would be wanting to raise
money for essentials such as rent and food.

Gommene, but its just the mother coming out in me.
Just sounds like something my oldest son would be saying.

Well, I have been selling some of my personal art for a month or two to raise funds for bills. ^_^ My bills are covered for this month (thank goodness), so now it's time to actually get something I've wanted for a while now. I've worked very hard to raise funds to get my bills paid for.

The 'muck and mire' comment is used around here in NC/with my family meaning that although things are tough, I'm not going to let myself forget to live a little.

As long as the bills are paid, I don't feel bad buying cels. This IS my only hobby, my only pastime, and if we can't have hobbies even when the chips are down, then that's just flat out depressing.

I understand what you mean, though, XD

Have you ever thought of setting up a booth in a mall, where you sell prints of your drawings?

Also people will pay you to draw protraits of them!

When you aren't drawing, you can be surfing the internet looking for more cels.

I have friends who do that.
