Considering selling cels from my collection

Post by animejewell »

I would like to sell the following series: Saiyuki, Chobits, Golden Boy, Jube-Chan, Magic Knight Rayearth, and Card Captor Sakura.

The catch is this, I would like to sell these series as lots. So... if anybody is interested in buying all of my Saiyuki sketches ( the magazine hanken can be excluded if needed), Chobits genga, Golden Boy cels, Jubei-chan cels, Magic Knight Rayearth cels, and Card Captor Sakura cels. I would like to sell all the cels/sketches as a set instead of selling them individually. If anybody is interested in making an offer for my collections, please email me at animejewell@socal.rr.com

I would be willing to accept payments of up to 4 months. I will accept offers for the price I paid for the cels/genga. If an offer is made and it's too low, I will let you know what is an acceptable offer.

I'm not considering selling any other series in my collection, I just need to start thinning my collection a little and keeping only those series that mean the most to me.

Sincerely,
Linda

Thanks for giving us all a heads up. :D That's really cool that you're wanting to keep the sketch sets together. ^_^

Are you trying to keep the series together for sentimental reasons, or just for ease-of-sale?

with all due respect, I think that's an awkward question to ask.

linda, good luck with your sale...I hope the collections find homes that deserve them!

Sets to stay together

Post by animejewell »

Hi,

I don't mind answering why I want to sell them in a set. It's because I still like the series so I'm not really gung ho to let them go; so to answer your question it's both....for sentimental reasons and for ease of sale.

If there is a specific cel that you are eyeing, I don't mind you letting me know about it as I keep a file of cels/sketches that other collectors would like to buy in case I ever part with them. Although, I have to admit that there are a number of cels that won't leave my hands for a very, very long time and that would be when I give up collecting.

Thanks for asking,
Linda

I think everyone gets a little excited when they see a "for sale" thread posted by you, animejewell  Good luck finding new homes for your sought after goodies, not that you'll really need any "luck" :D

Aww shucks, none of them are series I collect. Oh well, I shall content myself with drooling at your cels then. All the best for your sale! :D

Hikaru no Go

Post by animejewell »

To respond regarding Hikaru no Go, I'd have to take a payment plan of years or you'd have to take a mortgage on your house to get my Hikaru no Go sketches.
As you know, if I ever do let them go, you will be the first to know!

Hope everybody has a great weekend!

How about everything you own FMP as a lot? :D

I wonder if Shawn would let me mortgage the house over them...
