Massive gallery cleaning, auctions & offers/sales

We're continuing our quest to seriously trim the collection this year, and the first step is the shuffling of stuff inside the gallery. Right now, we're still in the organizational stages of the re-shuffling, but literally hundreds of pieces of artwork have been moved into our "chopping block" section for eventual sale.

I'm offering Anime-Beta members/readers the chance to make an offer or make a deal on anything currently in the for-sale section before moving to eBay with some.

[New stuff added from many series including Nadesico, El Hazard, Ranma, Golden Boy, etc]

We will listen to offers, or will give prices. This open-offers-and-sale period is good for a short time -- I will be creating some eBay listings TODAY, so don't wait if there's something you want. If I list it on eBay, it will be sold via eBay or you can opt to pay my eBay fees if you really really want to buy it (I upload listings between 4-7pm pacific time). The sale includes stuff that is also currently on our sale site! Feel free to ask about prices posted there -- we may negotiate just to move the stuff out of our house. Also, keep in mind that not everything will end up on eBay--we are planning to launch a private auction site in the next few weeks for items that we do not wish to list on eBay.

Please be sure to check the Miscellaneous section in the Chopping Block

- there are MANY popular titles in there (Outlaw Star, Yu Yu Hakusho, Evangelion, Eureka Seven, etc). Some (more) pieces from our GITS:SAC, Eureka Seven and Fullmetal Alchemist sections will also be making their way to the block soon, but I don't guarantee when.

We are NOT accepting offers on ANY OTHER part of the gallery! Inquiries on items outside the chopping block will be totally ignored. Other items may eventually make their way to the block, but if they aren't there yet, they aren't for sale!

First, thanks to those who have asked about items already! I'm about to list the first round of eBay auctions, which will include a lot of sketches, some Yu Yu Hakusho cels, and a couple of Outlaw Star cels. Also, our autographed cels will be heading to eBay, too.

But, this post is mostly about finding a new home for the enormous pile of MAR sketches that we have. They are probably not all scanned, but at least a good number that are indicative of the bunch should be: http://www.zero-space.net/gallery2/thum ... eriesid=93

Would anyone be interested in buying these in a large lot? We'd love to get the bulk off our hands, as the lot is probably well over 100 sheets total. If you're interested, please PM me.

Alright! Sorry for all the spamming, but we have listed some items on eBay and have plans to list more very soon. Also, we have posted MORE artwork to our chopping block section, so be sure to keep checking back, as we're still moving stuff there. Hopefully today we will add some Eureka Seven and potentially more Fullmetal Alchemist. We will also be adding some Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex sketches.

We will continue to listen to offers on anything in this section through the weekend. After that time, I don't know. We plan to begin some private auctions very soon, as well as more eBay listings.

We are more likely to cut deals if we don't have to resort to eBay!! We don't want to pay eBay fees, so if you save us the hassle, we'll be much more likely to work with you on prices, payments and shipping costs.

A few more notes:

1. We are still looking for a buyer for the MAR sketches.

2. Many of the CG show sketches can be bought in large lots -- if you help us move bulk, we might cut you a nice deal (though please, let's be reasonable... we aren't going to GIVE the stuff away).

3. If you ask for prices and we don't hear back from you at all (even simply to say no thank you), consider yourself on our blacklist. We don't appreciate doing a bunch of work and then having you fall off the planet.

4. The more you buy, the better the deal we'll give you! If you're buying a few hundred dollars in artwork, we might just give you a flat discount off the total (say like 10% or so), or even free shipping (that may include international buyers, too).

Thanks a BUNCH to all those who we've made deals with

-- we hugely appreciate the response we've gotten & we're glad to be finding new homes for some of our artwork.

We've decided to continue offers and sales off-eBay for the time being. So, you have more time to ask or offer. We will, however, be using eBay at the same time, so if you check eBay, you may see some of these items go up for auction/sale. Our eBay artwork sales now all feature free shipping, too! We're building the base cost of shipping into our starting bids to make it easier for you to know exactly how much it'll cost you up front.

I'll be listing more cels on eBay this week, so again, if you're interested in anything, please ask soon. Going to eBay this time: A piece or two from Outlaw Star, more Yu Yu Hakusho cels, possibly some FMA sketches, some Trigun cels, Lodoss Wars, Bubblegum Crisis, Golden Boy and maybe a Ranma or two. We may also list a few Tenchi pieces -- not sure. If you'd prefer to buy through eBay, please feel free to let us know what cel(s) you'd like to see listed! We'll take requests.

Please feel free to ask for prices! We are happy to give you some idea of what we'd like to get for the stuff. Please also keep in mind that while we purchased some cels during series' heydays & market highs, we are trying very hard to be reasonable and sell at today's market prices. Admittedly, there are some pieces we'd rather keep than sell at rock-bottom prices, so if you happen to ask about some of those, we'll pretty much let you know up front.

We will continue to post updates here as we move new items to the chopping block.

Today we will be moving a bunch of Eureka Seven artwork to the section, so check the site in a few hours.

Apologies -- I have yet to actually move the Eureka Seven artwork to the chopping block section >_<. Time has not been my friend lately!

I'm going to try to get that done today. I've added 2 new sections under the chopping block -- "on hold" & "to eBay". These are to help everyone to know what is going over to ebay (or currently there) and what is on hold for someone else.

We're also still listening to offers/giving prices

& we greatly appreciate the response we've gotten! Thanks bunches to everyone who has offered a new home to some of our artwork!

Quick update: Thanks to folks here and eBay, we have sold a huge amount of stuff over the past 2 - 3 weeks. I have tried like h-e-l-l to keep up with removing sold items from the gallery site. We still have current listings on eBay right now, and more will go up on Tuesday, Feb 8. After Feb 8, I think we'll be taking a short break from eBay for a week or so.

We still have a long way to go, though! So the culling continues

I've finally gotten the Eureka Seven stuff moved into our Chopping Block section. I've added the Ghost In the Shell: Stand Alone Complex sketches we plan to sell as well. E-mail or PM us if you're interested in anything! We've tried hard to accommodate all requests, special and regular, so don't be shy. Just ask!

Please do not ask about anything else right now unless you are making a good offer. We will give asking prices for anything in the block, but please don't ask us for an enormous list of prices, especially if you don't intend to buy them all. Considering we are doing this on the fly, it takes us a good bit of time and energy to come up with what we hope are reasonable asking prices.

So please, please don't abuse us! We don't like it much

The character on the cel is Mizuho. I have a cel of her. Sorry I can't help you on the voice acting stuff though because there isn't much information on the show online.

Yeah, that much we know. Actually, Yosh just failed to inform me that Dave (Nichibei) had mislabeled the cel when he sold it. It was in his notes on the cel in our gallery, but I presumed the labeling was correct and never looked
