I know he won't be for sale, but I'm really looking forward to seeing this famous Kurz image. Honestly, even if I don't get to adopt anything, I'm really excited to see what is in your collection. There are a lot of series listed that would be incredible to look at (the video game items would be cool to see as well).
I hope everything is going well for you and that you aren't too bogged down with work and stuff like that.

Yes, I'm still a few emails behind (gomen, gomen, gomen!
), but I had two spare hours alone with my primary computer, and so took the opportunity to figure out what I was keeping from (1.5 hours) and update (.5 hours
) four more series.
Check my site for Trigun, Fruits Basket, Rah Xephon, and Groove Adventure RAVE. RAVE and most of the Furuba have been password-protected on my site until now, so this is the first time they've seen the light of day, so to speak.
PLEASE NOTE THAT I'LL BE DOING THINGS A LITTLE DIFFERENTLY THIS TIME. By request of one collector in Europe and another in Hawaii, I'll make this a bit less PST-centric by dropping the "first-come" notion in favor of something only slightly more complicated. In the last group of series sales, I noticed that nearly all multiple offers for a specific item tended to be around the same amount (thus proving that you folks do indeed know more about pricing than I do, heh). So here's the deal:
The initial offer period for these four new series will last until 11:59PST on Tuesday, February 13. As always, I'll take any offers that sound reasonable. However, if there are multiple offers for the same cel or sketch -- unless one of them is so much higher that I'd have to hand in my evil license if I passed it up
(standard Guild of Evil caveat) -- I'll put all the reasonable offers in a hat and pick one at random. This way, it won't matter so much who's in the same time zone as I am. I hope this works better for everyone, and I apologize again for not considering the time difference before.
After the initial period is over, all remaining cels and sketches will be open game, and I'll just take any reasonable offers that come my way.
Two additional notes:
First, a lot of cel and sketch scans have a horizontal smudge in the middle of the image near the right-hand side. This is an artifact of my old scanner; the cels and sketches themselves are in great shape and unsmudged.
Second, I'm planning to have all outstanding emails answered by the end of the day tomorrow. As a result, though, I'm going to be setting aside all new mail until then, heh. For a writer, you'd think I'd be able to answer my own email a little faster, wouldn't you?
Thanks again for your patience!
And, as always, *HUGS!*

EDIT: Okay, I also uploaded Kurz for your ogling pleasure. Heehee! He's absolutely positively undoubtably never for sale, though! *pets Kurz sketchies*

Hi, all!
The Furuba/RahXephon offer period is now over, and I've finally responded to all transaction-related email.
(Still working my way through the chattier variety of mail, since those take way longer to write, heh.) So if you emailed to ask about a particular cel or sketch and haven't received a response, me no gots.
Tonight is Valentine's Day, so I'm not going to do a damn thing with my site
, but tomorrow I'll get "sold" icons up next to everything that's been adopted. Then the fun part... figuring out which two or three series to post next.
Thanks so much again to everyone!

Burying it with me seems the only sensible choice, though. If I willed it to somebody, there's always the chance they'd kill me for it!miz ducky wrote:Wow that really is a great set of Kurz!!

I imagine a herd of female cel collectors attending your funeral . . . then that night, they all show up in the graveyard with shovels.evilminion wrote:Burying it with me seems the only sensible choice, though. If I willed it to somebody, there's always the chance they'd kill me for it!
"What are you doing here?!"
"Ummm . . . uh . . . nothing. Wait . . . what about you?!"

Something tells me I should watch FMP, though . . .

what about emails that are a mix of chatty and questions about a cel/sketch? ^_^evilminion wrote: (Still working my way through the chattier variety of mail, since those take way longer to write, heh.) Oooo, creepy synchronicity! I just responded to you like two minutes ago.
I don't suppose you're any good at predicting lottery numbers? The Mega Millions is up to $130,000,000, and I'm keen to win...

Lots and lots and lots, heh. Just need to scrape together enough free time to scan all the previously unscanned Saiyuuki stuff, sort everything, try to remember which ones were gifts instead of omake or trades, and post the darn section!
But yep, lots and lots.

*hears her wallet begging in the background*
*stuffs said wallet in a drawer to silence the sobs*
*continues to wait for Saiyuki*

And ... *GLOMS* to EM, too!
