I am so glad to hear that shes better! Thank God! I remember paying close to $2000 for one of my cats when they were in the emergency room at the vet, but its worth it, you can't put a price on a loved one! All my best wishes to both you and her. :)

Sorry to hear about your bunny, but glad your bunny is now on the mend. I hope she improves to 100% soon, and good luck with the sale.

Wow! I googled "bloat" and it is scarey! Glad that your bunny recieved prompt treatment. Sounds like doing that saved his life. I hope he recovers well, poor thing.

If you have a bunny, you should REALLY read these articles:

GI Stasis
http://www.bio.miami.edu/hare/ileus.html
http://www.bio.miami.edu/hare/ileus.pdf

Bloat in Rabbits
http://www.anime-online.com/bunnies/docs/bloat.pdf

These have saved several rabbits. In addition to having my own bunnies, I also do rabbit rescue, work with the local shelter, and foster for the House Rabbit Society. These two articles should be read by every bunny owner/foster because it will save your bunny's life. A bunny can die within 4 hours (from bloat) and 24 hours from stasis.

Best of luck to you all. Take these to the vet with you if your bunny has any of these symptoms! =:3

Thanks for posting those, misa - that was information I was not aware of, though my bunny has remained healthy and happy her entire life with the exception of an ulcer on her eye months ago which we rushed her off to the vet for (we still have no idea how that happened).
