*TACKLEGLOMPS all her buddies!*

I miss you guys sooooooo much! The time offline has been helping, though; since I've stopped staring at a computer for 10+ hours every day, a lot of the pain in my rogue eye has vanished.

Still, it's NOT easy being this far out of the loop!
As for the non-cel thingie I'm ogling, it's a really nice GPS receiver.

With computer games on my "forbidden" list and hours of cel-hunting on Yahoo Japan equally verboten, I've had to find other ways to spend my free time.

So, since there are a lot of fabulous hiking trails and other outdoor areas here in Washington State, my hubby and I decided to take up geocaching (
http://www.geocaching.com/) as an excuse to get out there. We discovered pretty quickly, though, that the basic model of GPSr becomes wildly inaccurate the moment you get into heavy tree cover. Aaaaaaand what do we have an uncountable number of around here? Why, yes, that would be trees. So we're sending our own GPSr down to my parents, who live somewhere completely flat and treeless (Arizona), and I'm going to get us a higher-end model with a really good antenna.
And now, realizing that I've been staring at the screen for at least 15 minutes while typing this, I flee before I get busted for excessive computer use, heehee!
*MORE HUGS TO EVERYONE*
