Ok!

I have the opportunity to purchase an item that is near and dear to my heart. But in order to do so, I need to not have its cost come out of hide, so to speak.

So take a look at my gallery and make an offer.

There are a few I simply won't part with; and I should say right up front that there are many that cost me an arm and a leg, and I would want at least an arm back. ;)

I'll close it up as soon as I get to my goal.

Um... let's see... Paypal only (time being of the essence) and buyer will be responsible for shipping costs.

Let me know if there's something you'd like :)

You might be startled at what I would part with... or not, Kittens ;)

I'm about $200 from my goal at this point, so strike while the iron is hot.

Tex!!

*running glomps*

She who passed along the horrible contagion that is Saiyuki...
... and the almost equally awful contagion that is Nightwalker...

Well yes, it's a wonderful lovely chunk of resin with beautiful Asian eyes and... wowzers. :D :D Quite a bit larger than Kymaera's Japanese Schoolgirl Doll that I made for him last year, even.

I just really needed to not have this one be out of hide.... hubby has been wonderful about forking over fundage for very expensive feline dental emergency surgery, and unexpected car repairs, and so forth. Luxury items, though... well, you know.

BY THE WAY: does anyone know what color Mello's eyes actually ARE??
Sometimes they look blue, sometimes they look green... and the shots from the opening (Death Note) are so brief.

It's driving me nuts.

(short trip? you betcha.)

THANK YOU EVERYONE!!

I've met my goal, assuaged my overwhelming resin guilt - we have decided, by the way, that they must put something addictive in the resin when they make those dolls ;) -- and am now officially closing the offer period.

I hope that I'll have everyone's cels out by the end of the week, if not sooner - because of course I am utterly out of my usual supply of cel packing stuff when I need it, and will have to resort to carboard boxes cut down in inventive new ways.. X|

Congratulations on your new Wu Huhuhuhu~ ! You're gonna love him! :P

*is thinking I should cut back on the Ichigo doll slurping if there really is something addictive therein*

Eh, heh, heh ... yep, that's me. I'm like some kind of anime leper ... or something. 8O :D

Congrats on your new doll purchase! I can't wait to see pics. Hint, hint: You must send me pics!

And, even more congrats on reaching your goal in record time. *gloms*

Not a surprise, considering all the lovelies you have in your gallery. I wouldn't have minded tossing my hat into the ring for more than a few of them, but I'm trying so hard to be good on my little hiatus thing.

"Being good" is no fun. No fun at all. :hurt:

"Being Good?" Your words... are strange to me :D

Ok!

Everyone's cels have been in the mail queue for about, oh, an hour and a half now. You should SEE the incredible disaster zone I've made in my bedroom as a result :P Cel books, loose cels, sketches, old and new cel bags... EVERYWHERE.

Which is ok, because I need to rearrange them anyway...

Oh, fyi... One cel that was actually negotiated for in the last bunch went out between two sheets of iron-clad Taro board. :D Well, not really iron-clad, but I swear you'd need a Mack truck to bend those suckers.

All the rest went out in carefully packaged Rinkya boxes slud into Priority Mail Tyvek envelopes. If you hear something sliding around when you get it, don't worry; I tucked a copy of the email in and didn't bother to secure it, as ink rubbing off a piece of recycled printer paper really doesn't matter, don'tcha know. Everything else (cels, sketches, backgrounds and the like) are as carefully laid in there as I could get 'em.

After one bad experience with the postal orifice a few years ago I don't take any chances, you know?

Thanks again, all.

***************

And Tex... you should go look at that Kyle Reese doll again. My, he's purdy ;)

Now to finish scanning and uploading the stuff that wasn't there already...
