Sadly, having to give up collecting....

I'm not quite finished listing everything I am going to on ebay just at the moment, but I thought I would give everybody a heads up. That way, if someone wants to grab something before it heads to ebay, you've got a chance.

Due to several different circumstances, it's time I be an adult and decide what is and what isn't important right now. As much as I dearly love my cels and collecting, I am going to have to go on a cel collecting hiatus for awhile, and will have to not only stop collecting for awhile, but will sadly have to part with a lot of what I have already accumulated.

I dearly love my cels and quite honestly, this is one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do, but there are some things in life that are just more important, and it's important that I take care of those things now, and that means cels will have take a backseat for an unknown period of time.

I am currently listing auctions, and a few are already up and running, but more will be added later today, and possibly more tomorrow:

Also, this would be the time if ever there was one, if there was something in my gallery you have really had your eye on for a long time; now would be the time to email me with an offer. Now before everyone goes stampeding off after a certain Kenshin cel without reading the rest of this post, please know that at this time, I am NOT willing to entertain offers on anything in my Rurouni Kenshin OVA section, nor my "Flight of Dragons", "Mermaid Saga" sections, and none of my unicorn/kirin and Enki Rokuta genga from the "Twelve Kingdoms" section.

Also, please don't be certain that I am in such bad times that I will accept your offer for sure. If you throw the right number at me, then I will certainly give you the thumbs up. But just because I am willing to entertain offers, there are some items that I am going to have a much, much, MUCH more difficult time giving up, so please understand if I still say, "sorry, but I'm not quite willing to let it go at that price just yet".

Depending on the course of my situation, that may change, and I may let up over the next few weeks or so, but we'll see. Times right now are bad enough without going into personal details, and I don't want the added stress when it comes to giving up parts of my collection. I have been collecting for over 10 years now, and never thought I would reach this point, but have always lived in fear of it. I can only hope that not too far in the future, I can bounce back and can return to active collecting.

Wow....I STILL got offers and inquiries about my Kenshin OVA cels. pfffttt...

Anyway- I wanted to update people who are patiently waiting. I have received many offers. Many multiples for the same cels. I want people to know that some of the offers, especially ones for cels that are among my favorites, I will be sending replies to after I see how I do on ebay first.

I am still going to move some stuff over to ebay in the next couple of days, but don't worry, ANYTHING I have received any kind of offer on, I will not throw on ebay. I have received a lot of very decent offers, and some extremely good offers. Please forgive my delay in responding to you about your offers- it's because parting with my cels is extremely difficult for me and I want to see how much money I can raise on ebay first. Depending on how much I can get from ebay over the next week and how much my situation improves, I may not have to part with any more of my cels.

I *really* hope this doesn't upset anyone. I am honestly trying to get through this bad spot parting with as little cels as possible, and of course, lots of offers came through for several of my favorite cels. Yes- you guys have sent some wonderful offers and have been very kind in your politeness and concerns ( well, except for the people who didn't stop to read the part about KENSHIN OVA cels.... ) but, *ahem*, those cels are still some of my favorites

and if I can sell other cels first and possibly be able to rectify my situation in the next week or so, parting with the ones that are favored may not have to happen, and I can happily hold on to them dearly for a little bit longer.

Like I said, I hope this hasn't upset anyone. I promise cels offered on are not going to be moved to ebay, and I have recorded every offer and the name of the person and their contact information, so depending on ebay sales, I can sort through what I will simply have to give up trying to hold on to.

I hope everyone understands. Thank you greatly.

i wish you great success on your sales! im so sorry to hear about your situation (i know mine is not very good right now, i heard that i will be loosing hours from my job next year and might have to find a part time job. ugh. so ill be putting my collecting on hold till probably next year).

Just wanted to let everyone know that the first round of ebay auctions ended, and that for the 7 items that sold, I made a decent turn-around ^_^x

I am now going to start the process of replying to everyone's offers. Please be patient with me as it will more than likely take a couple of days to get through them all. Thanks again in advance ^_^x

Just a note that I am *still* getting back to offers. I got a lot of offers, and I am currently working 3 jobs- One 5 days a week, the second 6 days a week, and the third 7 days a week. So I'm a little hard-pressed to find time for sleep as well as keep up with all the emails/offers. Same goes for the packages- they are trickling out of here little by little as I get chances to run to the post office.
