Entire gallery for sale/offers, yet again...

Yeah, I know. Bad timing, once again.
BUT (you knew there would be a but right? ), there are two things I'd like to raise some money for.

First of all; I just returned from a wonderful trip to beautiful Iceland and I must say I fell in love with that country. What incredible nature and landscapes!
I uploaded a selection of 15 pictures in the photo gallery of CHX (click them twice, they're 800x600).
Please take a look if you feel like it and have the time.
I'm currently working on a page dedicated to Iceland on Stubbornmule-Images.com but, man, that's a buttload of work

Which brings me to one of the reasons I'm selling (once again). I'm currently saving up for a new camera; a Canon EOS 5D Mark II to be exact and needless to say it will set me back a thousand or three (probably more if I want to do it right )

The other thing I need some extra cash for (and that EOS 5D!) is a trip to New Zealand we have planned for 2010.
Err... (somebody got a money tree I could borrow for a while? )

So everything in the CHX gallery is open for offers and for sale this time.
Nothing is hidden and nothing is off limits. Although I must say that the Vampire Knight section will be very difficult for me to part with, as well as my Windaria collection (although I do not think anyone will be interested in that last one )

Awesome pics of Iceland, very cool indeed.

I can totally understand the desire for a new camera. After debating and researching forever, I finally caved and took the plunge with a new Nikon D90 with Nikon/Nikkor 18-200mm lens for our upcoming trip to Japan (you know I can't stay home for very long). Boy, that investment really hurt, but it takes amazingly beautiful shots, and not having to change lenses is worth every penny!

And congrats on buying a Nikon D90, very nice indeed! Have you always had Nikon camera's? I've found out that a person is either Canon or Nikon minded? True?
And is the 200mm enough? Or do you sometimes feel you need a 300? (or bigger?). My friend used my 75-300mm lens in Iceland on his EOS350D and we felt it came short several times.

The camera I worked with in Iceland was a compact Olympus 570 I borrowed from a friend (I still own a analogue EOS) and even though the pictures aren't bad for such a lightweight camera, I've found that it was easily outclassed by the Eos 350D my friend had (which I consider a fun amateur camera).

I haven't been very brand loyal in the past, or perhaps I'm a Sony/Canon convert to Nikon.

Back in ancient times I had a Canon T50 and then replaced it with a newer Canon that would stop working every year like clockwork for no reason at all. After 3 repair jobs I tossed it (and swore off Canon) when it stopped working for the fourth time, and bought a Sony Cybershot DSC-F707 that I used for 7 years before it died.

I did a lot of research and I kept coming back to Nikon D90. Sony didn't have what I was looking for, and people who own Nikon seem very pleased. I could not find a bad review on the D90 or the 18-200mm lens. The 18-200mm lens will do for now. I'd love a bigger lens, but they are incredibly expensive as you know, and the 300/400mm lenses are so massive in size and weight. The D90 and 18-200mm lens together weigh 3 lbs/1.4 kg - so it gets rather heavy after a few hours.
