OK yeah so that was vague. Our house cleaning continues, and what we have are a bunch of random items that I'd rather offer up to folks here before going to eBay. If you are interested in any of the following, please PM or e-mail me:

Shonen Jump magazines: (most are still sealed/unread)
Jan - Aug + Oct 2006
Jun - Dec 2005
March 2004

Raijin Comics Issues 4, 5, 6, and 7 (we have 2 copies of 6)

Anime Play - July 2003, Summer 2004

We also have the following JAPANESE (region 2) DVDs:

Southern Cross DVD Perfect Collection (box set)
Vampire Princess Miyu Integral DVDs 1-13
Geneshaft Vol 1
Ah! My Goddess box set (includes lots of extras like trading cards, etc)
Mini-goddess DVD (in a CD sized case)
Love Hina Xmas Special
Vandred box set with vols 1-4 (missing last 2 discs)
Aika vol 1
Gundam F91
You're Under Arrest season 2, volumes 2 and 3
Initial D 2nd Stage volume 3, battle stage
Kenshin OAV 1 & 2 (these may have english subs)
Kenshin TV DVDs (in CD size cases, still sealed) containing eps 67-86 + character DVD

We also have a large stack of Newtype magazines that we plan to take to eBay, but anyone here is free to call dibs on anything they want before we do so. They start with the first issue in 2002 and we have random issues from years 2003 through 2006.

Right now we have no asking prices in mind for any of these. We don't even know if anyone will want them, but if you see anything on this list that interests you, please ask. Feel free to ask for details, as I just don't have the time nor the energy to list it all right this moment ^^;. You might be surprised how cheap we'll sell it just to get it out of the house!

Most of this stuff can be shipped media mail, and I'd recommend they be insured due to some recent strangeness with the USPS and Media Mail shipments disappearing (*shrug*). I will also be happy to ship parcel post within the USA as well, but for International they MUST go Priority. I can and will use flat rate boxes for International stuff if it is cheaper that way. I understand that it is expensive overall, but I just don't have the time to go to the P.O. to pay for First Class International postage.

Thanks all! I will have photos of these items coming fairly soon, so if you want to see something, just ask. I'll do my best to respond quickly. ;)

Z, have you shipped anything international lately? You might have to go to the post office and wait no matter what method of shipping you use.

About 2 weeks ago, I sold off one of my extra OP figures, and printed the Priority International postage off Paypal. When I went to the post office looking for the envelope you're supposed to put the paperwork in, it wasn't out where you could get it. I had to get in line and ask someone, and apparently, even though I'd already paid, he had to check the package in. Then, he had to type in all of the sending information all over again, even though I'd already paid, because PP hadn't sent the information over to the PO yet (I'm not sure whether this was because I'd just printed the label, or because PP sucks in general and doesn't link up properly).

Anyway, he had to electronically accept the package and sign parts of the customs forms. It literally took more time for this whole process than it did for me to purchase First Class International for a different package last week. Same number of people ahead of me, same postal worker taking care of me (he probably knows I'm a geek now . . . had to ask me what an anime cel was).

Otoh, if you've shipped internationally recently and haven't run into this mess, we can chalk the whole experience up to my bad luck. Which honestly wouldn't surprise me.

Wow, klet that's weird. Yeah, I printed a PI label a week or two ago without any issues. I keep a pile of the customs envelopes in the house, too -- and my mail carrier picks up all my outgoing packages. Thus far, I have never had anything like that happen, but I'll keep it in mind.
