I'm going to be making a good effort to sell a good part of my collection. I'm not quitting but am anticipating personal commitments that I think is just a tad more important than cel collecting. You can say I'm VERY motivated right now to raise as much as I reasonably can. What this means is that I'm willing to accept lower prices for art that aren't part of my main collection and isn't one of those 1 cel to keep pieces... What this ALSO means is that I'm willing to accept serious and generous offers on some very rare/hard to find/valuable pieces in my collecting focus area (Rurouni Kenshin / Shinsengumi related / Daimos and Voltes V). As long as it is serious and generous I will take it into serious consideration, meaning I may or may not let it go just because I've really worked hard to make these a part of my collection so there is an enormous amount of money, sweat, patience and sentimental value attached to my prized pieces so I hope you understand if in the end I still have to decline a serious/generous offer. But everything that is in the "others" section and anything that are "copies" will most certainly be easy to get from me (note the "1 piece to keep" caveat earlier).
I'll post this announcement here for now so you can peruse my
RS gallery here (will be completed by Dec and is what will be used) and
here (more complete but not up to date and may have errors). Offer period doesn't start until December so that prospective buyers can decide and prepare for what they want. Please note I will not be pricing cels in my gallery (I find it difficult to "price" and only do so when I don't like a piece enough to actually throw it to one of the auction sites) so use this time to think about what you want to offer. I will definitely be taking payment plans for 300 and over. You structure the payment plan (but note that I will send you a default policy for both our sakes). Thank you and don't forget this is probably your best chance to take things off my hands (notice I didn't say anything about "Saitou is off-limits"... I must be crazy... Don't get me wrong. I LOVE my wolf!).
