Thank you, thank you everyone for helping make my big day a supportive one.
I didn't get anything anime-oriented as a present (but my 10-cent eBay auctions did well, so you'll see some of the fruits soon ... ) I did get a very nice shredder that will come in handy at tax time and make lots of mulch for my garden. Also a can of gourmet peanuts, a fuzzy top, and DVDs of O Brother, Where Art Thou and Hitchcock's Thirty-Nine Steps. (I love vintage movies).
My wife and I went to one of my favorite places, a neighborhood seafood hangout that is powerfully difficult to find, unless you're a local, where I had lobster and a Long Island Iced Tea (both superb). Then home for cake, gourmet coffee ice cream (made with powdered beans ... quite a kick) and the Orange Bowl. Not a pretty win ... sorta like Jack Sharkey outlasting Max Baer in Cinderella Man, but a very, very satisfying end to a season where Penn State's football program rose from the dead to be a contender once more.
So once again I watched the timers turn all the neighborhood holiday lights off one by one, and now I'm up and trying to convince myself to get to some serious work ...
Thanks again, all of my well-wishers.

SO sorry I'm late to say Happy Birthday! I'm so glad to hear that you had a great day and I hope you continue to have good days throughout this new year!

My cat Temperance I call her Tempe for short.

My cat Seeley is a Sailor Moon fan, too!
I didn't anticipate on having a black female cat and a white male cat or I would have named them Luna and Artemis... oh well.

Your happiness adds to the delight of all. Don't worry about it, LinaLoN.

1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
