When my brother got married, his best friend since junior high was his best man. Their lives could not possibly have taken more different directions after high school -- my bro a paper mill worker, best friend a restauranteur to the upper "crust", if you will -- but this friend simply recounted the essential qualities that make my brother a guy you want to be friends with for 20 years :) And then he turned to my sister-in-law and somehow managed to say that she was one of the loveliest people he'd ever met (without using those words) and what a fortunate man my brother was to have met her.

Not a dry eye in the house :)

Somehow, NSP, I have a feeling you'll be able to pull off something memorable like that. You just have that way. :)
