Vapalla Needs Your Thoughts of Support

Vapalla, one of the dearest souls on Beta, has had an emotionally difficult year. As many of you know, her father died after a difficult illness just before Otakon. Now her mother-in-law, with whom she was very close, was killed suddenly in a traffic accident yesterday. This tragedy, coming so soon after losing one of her parents, leaves her very fragile and in need of your thoughts and prayers. Please, if you know her, share your expressions of concern and moral support with her.

I'd say do this directly, as she is not likely to log onto Beta until after the funeral and scattering of her mother-in-law's ashes (at her vacation spot on the beach, where she was headed for an annual birthday celebration). Many of you know her well, and have her email (and possibly her snail mail address) on file. I don't want to post them here where they might attract spam or nuisance mail, but if anyone wants either, I'd be happy to PM them to you.

Pray if you are a believer, show Vapalla your friendship if you're not.

Oh my gosh.

Well that explains why no pictures of her doll were forthcoming... We've been sharing emails with fangirl squeals of the cute dolls, and I hadn't gotten the promised update pictures.

Thank you for the news Sensei. My condolences go out to her and her family, and I pray for her that she will make through this soon. I will keep her in my thoughts, and I hope others will too.
