Post by ryoendymion »

pokes head out of groud...

hi folks,
don't know if any of you remember me but i fell out of the scene a long long while ago. i wish i had a better reason than this but life was just been busy with work and other activities and so i just kinda stopped checking beta and all the other cel sites X| thought it wouldn't be for long but one week turned to a month, than a year and now i'm back after 2+years. eep.

anyhoo, just wanted to introduce myself here again since it's basically like i'm new ^^;

Helloo! Well let me be one of the first to welcome you back! *welcomes*

Don’t worry, we all know how busy life can get, but that's the beauty of the hobby as you're always welcome back. So what brought you back/rekindled your interest in cels again then?

Yay! Welcome back! :yay

Of course I remember you! Aside from the fact that you let me talk you into parting with one of one my all time favorite cels, both versions of Rhapsodia Serenitatis are absolute gems. :^^:

thank you for the welcome back! (and moop, yes, i definitely remember that :D i still love that sesshoumaru cel to pieces so thank you again!!)

as for what brought me back.. well, i wasn't completely cold turkey during the hiatus. i would check sale/auctions sites once in a while when i remembered (hard to believe but i definitely missed out on some cels i wanted just because i would forget to go back and bid until a few weeks later!.. guess i didn't want them badly enough X| ), so i was getting one or two cels every few months. but when i got them, i'd look at them, do a little happy dance and put off scanning and cataloging them until later.

fiiinally, yesterday, i was cleaning up the mess that is my room and realized just how many cels i had stashed away in various parts of my bookcase and decided to scan/catalogue them and update my site. one thing led to another and i found myself looking at other people's collections/forums again and thinking 'wow, i really missed all of this!' and that's why i'm back :) i'll probably still be busy and distracted (time seems to get sucked away between when i get home from work and bedtime... i have dinner and sit down at the computer and it's seems to be midnight already :x) but i'm definitely going to find a way to fit this in again!

.. and that was a really long explanation 8O

I've visited both your sites a number of times. Though of course I'm slow and never put two and two together that they had the same cels. :P I do like your non-rs site's layout. :)

Welcome back!

Which place was your favorite and why?

Yay, another old-timer returns to the boards. ^^ *was missing in action for the last three or four years herself*

Ahh... and you still have that Tama pan I always loved too. Your collection is so wonderful! (Shinessmmaaann...)
