I sent an email to them, and a PM to you.

I got in contact with the seller's local police two weeks ago. They contacted her at her address but her mother answered saying that Taylor wasn't in however, would be back the following week and return the call. The police have asked Taylor to talk with them about the issue.

Her mother called the police back this week and said that Taylor's going to stay with her for a while at her house. But she did give a contact number that I now have.

So it looks like the seller is avoiding me because she knows she's in the wrong. She's even avoiding the police lol. This may sound mean, but I hope it scares her that I got the police involved. For all the months of stress I went through, I want her to feel some of that.

I'm not sure if I will bother calling the mother as it probably won't get anywhere. As far as she's concerned (or what her daughter has told [lied to] her), she thinks that me and Kizu sent eachothers' cels back to eachother directly and there was no problem. Taylor knows this is not true since she sent me an email dated the 29th May saying that she would post my cel that day. Therefore, it's possible that she lied to her own mother.

It looks like I've lost both my money and the cel. I hope she chokes on it in all honesty.

You're not the one who's in the wrong here, she is. I think it's absolutely hilarious and well within your rights that you contacted the local police department. That was extremely clever.

The mom is a dead end, you're right about that. Just try to continue to pursue Taylor herself. Don't let up. You never know what may happen. If you can get a hold of her, make it clear that all of this will go away if she mails the cel to you like she promised. She may not even have the cel anymore? I don't know. But I would push this issue as far as you can. You're the victim here, don't forget that. Karma has a way of coming back on people, so she'll get hers. I'm sure.

Ditto, I just can't beleive this is still going on and I think it's a great move you've contacted the local police and can only hope for you that the added pressure on her makes her do the right thing.

UPDATE: The seller emailed me earlier this month saying that she sent my cel along with two other cels as an apology. It turned out that she was telling the truth and I now have my cel!

She didn't give any reason for the eight-month delay without any reponse to emails/letters but at least I have what I paid for.

I'm so relieved this is all over.

The seller even seemed to not understand why I was so angry over such a long delay without contact or my item. Maybe she thinks that's normal, who knows.

She only saw my Rubberslug "Bought But Not Received" entry after she posted the cels to me and thought that I was the one in the wrong for posting that; calling it "character-assasination". Well, she made a good job of that herself without my help.

Really, it's these kinds of people that others need warning about.
